Laser solutions for automotive parts & components
Automotive suppliers use three laser technologies: five-axis 3D lasers to trim hot-stamped and formed parts, tube lasers for exhaust, seat and chassis tubes, and high-power flatbed lasers for brackets and reinforcements. All three replace dedicated tooling and shorten changeovers.
Typical parts
- Hot-stamped B-pillars, door rings and bumpers (3D trimming)
- Exhaust systems and seat frames (tube cutting)
- Brackets, reinforcements and battery trays (sheet cutting, laser welding)
- Trailer and truck body parts
